Why is this coin 3x cheaper on ebay than the $1 Changeover coin which has mintage 3.5x greater than the 2021 MOR?
Will the mintage be 'corrected' ?

Because the MOR doesn't have a "pretty picture" on it. Sad but true.

Even this coin is more sought after it seems than the misjudged and maligned 2021 MOR .

Looking at the sold prices for "Bluey" coins on ebay it seems like fools and their money are being parted too easily. I really doubt that ebay prices are a good indicator of coin values these days. Mind you, there are some dubious values listed in a popular catalogue and some prices paid at recent auctions also are hard to understand. Perhaps coins are becoming more valuable as an investment based on the proposal of a cashless society?

I still think the rarer coin such as the 2021 $1 MOR should be more valuable than the 2016 $1 changeover coin and both should be far more valuable than a junk coin with a cartoon character on it. I guess time will tell? In any case I will wait until I find a Bluey while noodling before I get one in my collection - certainly won't be paying ebay prices.

Seems to me that the price is dropping?
some sellers are still asking over $400 a bag yet others will take $150?

I have yet to find one in circulation.

If the mintage is correct as shown in the RAM site (160,000) - this would be the lowest Aussie mintage circulation coin! (assuming the 1992 MOR does not exist)
