1962 Proof Lincoln Cent With Probable Reverse Lamination.

The lamination runs above the E of ONE to the base of the memorial. Would be curious to know if this is definitely a lamination error, or some kind of die damage or other planchet issue. The thick bar on the right doesn't quite strike me as a lamination, the same way as that crinkled, folded edge does. Maybe there are two problems happening simultaneously on this cent? Or maybe that is some kind of lamination inside the coin, slowly corroding away and lifting the surface? Report this Post to the Staff
