Hope all are in good health, as for me been through alot l. Moved to a bigger house, my mom passed away and daughter recently got married. #128546;. I needed advice from you guys, I recently went through my penny jar and had numerous coin that I tossed without looking at them. Would you believe that I have the Holy Grail which is 1943 Copper Wheat cent. 3.11g. Now my issue is that this cent had been in dirt for quite sometime and has environmental damages where you can see the number 4 and 3 very vaguely. When looking with a magnifier the number get distorted but visually you can see the 4 and 3. This cent has an error which the number 3 is on the rim. I do plan to take it to a coin dealer in the morning to see what I should do with the coin, if he offers me a decent amount of $$$$$$, I might consider to sell. Please advise.... I am having issues uploading pictures, I will email instead.

In 1943 the 3 was not close to the rim on a Lincoln Cent. I do not think that you have a 1943 copper cent. If the dealer offers you more than 3 cents, take it. Here's one of mine for reference.  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Unless the date is conclusive, no one is going to believe you have a copper 1943 cents.
We can't tell anything from the photo supplied. We need a clear closeup of the date area
to be able see what the date, if possible is.
Also there is no way for the 3 to be on the rim during the striking of the coin.
