I still have yet to find a true DD and have trouble telling MD from DD.

But this one looks good to me. What are your thoughts?

I'm with you Meandice I find it hard to tell also but I don't have the greatest eyesight either.
However I would guess this to be Die Deterioration.
When I see the the doubling on both sides of the digits as shown I'm thinking deterioration or more simply put a well worn die.
This is just my take on it and I wouldn't hold a lot of confidence in my opinion.
Someone with more experience may very well come along and set the record straight. Lets hope.

Yes, I agree with hounddog in that it's Die Deterioration Doubling:

It's minor, but I can confirm that it is in fact a doubled die obverse.

In the second set of images, if you look at the second image you can see obvious notching on the top right of the number 1, you can also see the first hubbing impression poking out beside the second hubbing impression on the bottom/right side of the 0 and the 3.

There are a couple versions of the 2013 DDO.

The stronger doubled die obverse on the 2013 toonies also have a doubled die reverse paired with them.

Amazing! It was the "0" I was looking. As in image 2 under some Lighting I thought I was seeing a doubling.

I will take a closer look at the reverse.

I started roll hunting for loonie and toonie about a month ago with the goal of collecting a complete set of dates and major varieties. A double date 2013 was one of the missing spots.
