This ICCS MS-60 graded 1945 Canada silver dollar is the newest addition to my coin collection. It currently books at $550CDN in the Canadian Coin News magazine. Payed $563CDN for it. Only 38,391 were minted. What do you think of it? Is it considered rare in this grade?
Nice silver dollar but certainly not rare in MS60. These have been graded as high as MS66. The main thing is as long as you are happy with it, thats what counts.
Just FYI The last 10 certified MS60 on ebay sold for an average of $430.00 Canadian Coin Magazine is out of wack when it comes to pricing.
Do more research before you buy though, some price guides are out of touch with reality. CCN prices are set by dealers for the benefit of dealers. Here's the most recent comparable sold on ebay : 157632781241 The $430 average price mentioned by JimmyD is realistic.
