I've got a ton of 1976Qs (none of them S or d DDO unfortunately)
then I came across this one, literally the last I looked at...
Is this offset? across the entire top of the coin I can't imagine its PSD? Never seen it before on any coin (but again I'm new at this)
Is it worth anything?

No, it doesn't really look off center. But you should put that nice AU 1976 Bicentennial quarter in a case!

Could be a Ridge Ring caused by late stage Die Deterioration.

Looks to be some evidence of Die Deterioration.

there's no ridge though? I've got plenty of coins with Ridge Ring, this just seems to cut off at the top and have a gap between the letters and the edge of the coin, like a ridge "canyon"...

It might also be the start of a soft die error around the perimeter, but I still think it's probably a Ridge Ring.

I don't think it looks like a "normal" Ridge Ring nor does it look like a soft die problem. But it sure looks to be some type of Die Deterioration problem as it looks to almost go completely around the entire rim area.

EDIT: And the top of Washington's head looks to be affected also........

yep think I figured it out... thanks to Brandmeister for the link!
die attrition error...
Question is, does this add to the value or detract from it?
