I'm looking for at least one P-1 or FR-2 for my Carson City Morgan collection. This one to me looks a little better than P and lower than AG and overall I thought had nice eye appeal for a low grade. Thoughts?

03 - you've got a little ways more to go for an 02.

I agree with the nice eye appeal. IMO this coin grades AG03.

If you have any interest in viewing some amazing lowball Morgans go to the PCGS Registry site and view Mike Hoyman's top ranked 'End of the Trail' set.

He has assembled the entire business strike Morgan series in PCGS PO01. Simply an amazing collecting effort.

I'd say AG-3. Too much detail on the head and eagle to be lower.

Looks like enough meat on the reverse for an AG-3.
