1974 1 Cent - Error? - Coin Community Forum

majoly83 New Member Canada 19 Posts	Posted 03/30/2026 11:24 pm I found this penny. I was about to discard it but I am not 100% it is physical damage done to the coin. It looks like cracks a bit everywhere (especially top left corner. At first I thought it was just damage caused by the coin being in contact with others, but I noticed some of the cracks going from one side to the other of the "1" of 1 Cent without going over the 1. If I turn in in different angle, I see no cracks so I dont have a feeling those are scratches. What is your opinion? Report this Post to the Staff
