At first the lack of detail on Washington's hair made me think XF, but I believe that's actually due to a worn die. The letters are spreading, too, and it looks like the fields were scrubbed, possibly to remove a die clash. I would call this AU-58, purely because I see evidence of dirt and usage.

Absent that faint wear, I think the coin would have passed for MS-63 with a weaker than average strike due to Die Deterioration.
