WolfStock New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted Today 4H 21M ago Greetings - I'm a newbie poster from Virginia. Looking forward to checking out the site and getting to know folks. I'm a history buff and casual coin collector, for about 20 years now. Not yet retired and been raising kids, so haven't had as much time to devote as I'd like - eventually though expect to get more into it. I'll admit that I joined the site just now for bit of a selfish reason - I wanted to get some info about selling some inherited coins. (it's a long story) So if anyone's willing to point me in the right direction (best place to discuss on this site) it would be most appreciated. Otherwise - looking forward to the site! As for your inherited coins, you will need to seek out an honest evaluation of what you have and then an appraisal. You should seek out a reputable local coin store/dealer (perhaps some forum members from Virginia or your area can chime in) to begin the process. It is a process and depending on the value of the coins will require more than one evaluation. If the coins are graded by a TPG (third party grader) the process is somewhat easier, if the coins are raw, authentication will be very important. Report this Post to the Staff
