I normally do not collect coins from San Marino and until I bought this coin I didn't keep foreign coins only because of their tone. However, I had the chance to buy this proof 500 Lire from San Marino for just 5 € when I was in Italy last time and I am definitely keeping this one :)

Funny you say that chute. I have a pair of 04o's with very similar toning that are also back to back VAMS (44 & 45) very unique pairing lol. PM me and I'll send you pics if you want.
