Nice Ike dollars jbuck! I like them. Out of curiosity, what happened to your 3rd Ike to get that AG3 grade? Errers and Varietys.

You're very welcome! That's pretty cool that nickelsearcher gave you that Ike dollar. I'm going to say that it was at one time, a pocket piece. Errers and Varietys.

Yup. The story I am going with.  Funny thing is he was not aware I had started a graded Ike set and that the surprise was even more meaningful. |

What am I going to do with these that I got for a song? I'll post when I get some candidates. Think they might be 1973 and 1976. Do you concur jbuck?  |

Very cool Lowball , love the look of it, especially Love the look of the 72-D . From the photo it looks like a strong candidate of being minted in a proof cupro-nickel planchet.

You purchased this from James Sego, correct? I believe he described it as having BLAST LUSTER. He has another one listed that looks almost identical: 132619989027Can you take a picture of the coin in direct light to see how it compares with those 71-Ds I posted? Good eye on that one, jbuck. I was actually a little bit saddened when I went back to check on it, and it was "no longer available." Edited by Darth Morgan
