I'll be getting the 71 PD in BU and the 1972's (all of them in BU condition - that includes the type 2 as well)

Very nice - I love Ike dollars. I recently purchased 200 from my bank. I had to cash in 20 as they looked to have damage from being taped. (Due to the amount of damage I believe these have been stored for some time now.) I assume they had these in stacks of 10 with the top one taped. The other 180 look to be in very good condition. Still looking for a 1973. :(

Nice little haul But the ones you gave up, may well could have been saved by a good long soak in pure acetone to remove the residue..

OOO I soaked them as I did not want to lose a single one, but the damage was to great. Had cracks in the coin due to the damage.

Well, you might be looking for a while, as 1973 Ike dollars weren't released into circulation at all, only in that year's mint sets. But it's not entirely impossible to find one - people have reported finding 1970 and 1987 half dollars in circulation!

Hi @Dearborn, So I finally searched the 1976 Ike's. Here is what I found.
The rest seem to be type 2 but like 85% or them have full bell lines. Need to research more information so I can know what to do with them all.
Sorry for the pic still cannot get the lighting right and still waiting on my new scope.

I have 44 more that appear to be type 2. Most with full bell lines. Once I can get better pics I will post more. Will appreciate any help
