Yeah, I was pretty excited about the find. Heck I was excited to find 5 silvers in 2 boxes. It's kinda funny that I came that close ti finding a key date coin while hunting silver. I have been telling her lately that I intended on buying some key date coins. I have decided that I am not just going to collect coin series that I like anymore. I have decided to collect key dates from any and all series as an investment into our future. I am only 35, and I figure if I can buy keys now, by the time I retire they will be worth a lot more. Although I doubt that I would ever sell them, propbably just pass them on to my children.

You can call any teen mercury from circulation a "key".

nice job mdj!

Box #32: 2 silver

1959
1960

Both were hole fillers. Almost have a full roll of silver dimes now. Well I have 51 silver but the plastic tube holds 52 dimes, so one more for a full tube shall I say. So not sure if my results are good or not but after 32 boxes I now have 51 silver dime. 49 roosevelts, 1 mercury, and 1 canadian silver. wish I could find more mercurys, other people seem to find way more than I do.

In my last box I got a 1961d and three proofs (1987s, 2003s, and 2007s). I spotted the thicker rims edge searching.

Wow murry already a full roll of dimes! I would really love to find an early canadian silver like a 1930's or 20's or something.
I have no idea how many I have found, not including my rosie book I have 1! (sold the rest)

Yesterday I found my oldest canadian silver so far, a 1951. It's my first Canadian 80%.

this thread is making me sad. I work from 7-3:30 monday-saturday and don't have much time to get to the bank
I usually have one day off during that stretch besides sunday. This week it is thursday, tomorrow. Problem is that the bank teller I used to pick up all my coin frm got a promotion and is off to another bank like 2 hours from my house. Ugg
gotta find a new bank to get my stuff from now. One of my dumps I guess, hopefully they shipped all my coin back already that I have been dumping there for so long.
