I don't have any expectations of my 8 boxes today. Hope to fill some holes and pick up a few extra silvers. And minimal skunkage would be nice.

My halves have been skunks for two weeks, so I got $700 in dimes. Pretty happy with the results. 2 64's, a 53, a 57 and what appears to be a 1929 Merc. I could not begin to tell the MM, as it is in bad shape. I had to get the hand lens out to read the date, and I am not 100% sure of that (it may be a 1924). Fun stuff.

Well...results are going to be a bit strange... Normally I never have to order boxes of dimes only halves, but since I wanted 6 extra this week I figured I would order them to make sure they came in... 6 boxes came in today, apparantly there was a misunderstanding when I ordered...the teller thought I wanted 6 boxes of halves not dimes. So now I have 6 boxes of halves and no dime(didn't take my 2 boxes of dimes since I just put up 3k). Results will be posted in the JFK thread. I'm not opening any til Thursday, I will take pics of process. (lots of work tonight and tomorrow) So good luck to everyone with their weekly hunting and of course have a happy and SAFE Thanksgiving.

I'm glad I found one. these were customer wrapped rolls and I usually hate doing them because I always believe it is someone elses dump. So I'm glad I found this one.

I am never ordering a box of dimes again, but not for the reason you may think. I ordered a box from my credit union and they "forgot" last week but did deliver on how I should "really order from the main office, we are just a small branch." The box is suppose to arrive today but I still have not gotten the call. The other reason I have found I really do not need to. I stopped off at a small bank last night about 15 min before the closed and asked for $305 in rolled dimes and they sold them to me, no problem. Better yet:
(2) 1964 Rosies (2) 1968 Canadian and best of all-
My first MERC! 1945
Guess who is my new dump bank...

Congratulations all on your finds. It's been rough around here. Seems like every other box is a skunk. And my finds are only one a box. The last box had a 61d. I need a good box to get my average back up! Everybody have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I keep all of my finds sorry. I don't sell anything I find either. I like the feeling of knowing everything I have was found by me. I just like it, don't know why.
