finished a box I was really excited to get since I am trying to increase the amount of coin I am searching. I have begun getting coins from another bank instead of just one
anyways, today I understand how many of you feel.
I got my first ever skunk, which really stinks when I usually get 2-4 coins per box.
ugg on to the next one on wednesday

get used to skunks. I don't let them get me too down. My average seems to be 1.5 per box. So I get many boxes that only have 1 and some that are skunks. but then I've had a few boxes with 7 to average me back up. but yes skunks are no fun. Especially when you get a few in a row. I did 7 boxes once and got 3 total silver.

I used to get 4 to 5 boxes a week. If you increase your volume you should get more silver. By the way, the last 2 boxes were skunks. #$%&*%$!

I normally order 2 boxes a week from 1 bank, but with Thanksgiving coming up I figured why not order 6 for the weekend. They're coming in on Tuesday.

I went there on Thursday to pick up my normal 2 boxes and they didn't get their delivery this week, the teller told me they're getting Thursdays delivery this Tuesday...which means 8 boxes on Tuesday!

I'm not gonna get used to skunks since I have searched about 30-40 boxes in 3 years and this is my first!
Not worried, just sad by the unfortunate skunking lol
8 boxes should haul in some nice silver numbers
what is your goal for the 8 boxes
I always set goals, even though I have no control over the outcome lol
does anyone else do this?
I also like to open up the rolls that are rolled with different or older rollers first
any stupid things you guys do while roll searching

I always open the rolls with the oldest looking coins on them first...I havent done dimes in awhile, but I'm pretty busy until after Christmas, so maybe I'll do some then.
Rest in Peace

Not exactly a roll find, but there was a 2011P dime in the parking lot next to my car.

Picked up $115 in NF String rolls today and got a 1953 and 1959. Finally some silver after 3 $100 skunks in a row. I can't complain really - 2 silvers out of $415 isn't bad.

Going through $325 of dimes and found a 64' and my wife found a 1901 Hong Kong colonial 5 cent piece. That was COOL!
