The merc edges that are still silver in color look worn down usually. I can almost always tell when I have one in hand. I love finding mercs no matter what the shape. Congrats for sure Hoping to grab some boxes quick after work from my second string bank teller lol then I can search them quick before my day off on wednesday, which is when I will return them along with the stuff I got on thursday. On wednesday I will get my big "order". Hoping to build up my silver stack with dimes still.

300 in dimes last night. The wife and I have reversed roles. She's now finding the shiny, while I have to contend with filling some holes. 2 1964's!

got a box of 250 dollars of dimes also from the same bank I got 2 100 dollar boxes and a 100 dollar box with only 50 dollars of dimes in it. The teller made those ones up for me since she only had one 250 box left. Anyways 50 dollar box had nothing 100 dollar box 1 silver...1960 100 dollar box 2 silver...1964 D, 1950 250 dollar box 1 silver...1957 also found in this 500 dollars worth of dimes was 2 proof Roosevelt dimes. 1983 S and 1971 S both of which look like they have been in circulation for their entire existence on earth. No mirror fields at all, I still love finding proofs in circulation as much as silver. 12 different dated clad proof dimes found so far 2 different dated silver proofs

4 silver for $500, that's not bad. I'm stoked if I get more than 1 per box.

3 is my average so I am not jumping up and down. But if I factor in the proofs, that makes 6 coins and would put me at my average lol positive thinking haha

Found a 64 d. Having trouble again with US bank, their getting to many dimes back. Their going to limit me to one box a week. Between that bank and another bank I'll be down to two boxes a week. My credit union has a change machine at the main branch... but its all the way across town, and coinstars take too big a percentage. Just 2 boxes a week ARRRRGG!

glad there are like 40 banks within a 5 mile radius of my house how many boxes were you searching before this. Usually I am only getting 1 box a week. Now I have another pick up bank though and I have been hitting the dimes hard lately to fill my last hole 1949S
