Quote: 1955 is the lowest mintage dime, and this was also the best condition dime I have ever found. The pictures below don't even show all the luster that the coin has. It also has a neat die break at 2:00 on the obverse. Very nice!

nice finds murrel, I found a 1947 S in my 1 box today and yes halves are pain in the backside to bring back so I cut down on halves to concentrate on dimes and nickels as well

Picked up $40 in shotgun rolls. In one roll I found 2 1964's. One of which looks as if it could have been minted yesterday. There isn't a trace of dirt on it. Skunked on the rest.

May try some CR rolls tomorrow. Luckily, I know of a number of banks that always seem to have some CR rolls.
My luck with them has been so so but seeing how I have not done a box of dimes, I cannot make a comparison on a local area basis.

Just searched a loose bag of $1,000 that I intercepted, were due to be shipped out today. Spent $2 in gas (driving an f-150 ) to pickup, I'm in the country and the bank is that close. 1946 1954 1958D 1964D

good job everyone, I hope to get back at it one day. I still love seeing what you all are grabbing. Dimes are definitely my favorite to search. They are the best by far

I rescued a 1954 with a beautiful S mink mark on the back from $250 in dimes. Dimes are by far the most consistent producer of silver, getting skunked is very rare. - Michael, Ph.D in CRH :)
