196B Quarter? - Coin Community Forum

new2coins2010 New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 06/19/2010 12:38 am Hi, I am very new to coins and am hoping someone can help me out on here. My family has owned a gas station and over the years they have saved buckets and buckets of coins going back 30 years. When starting to go through them, I found a quarter that reads 196B for the date. Anyone have any idea what this is? I have tried repeatedly to post the pic I took but for some reason this forum has too many restrictions on what can be uploaded. Hope anyone can help. Report this Post to the Staff

GO Moderator United States 6563 Posts	Posted 06/19/2010 01:24 am On the forum you can only upload pics smaller then 100k so it just needed to be shrunk and cropped. It's damage. The quarter was hit from the bottom and it moved some of the metal to squish the 8 Looking forward to see the rest of your bucket contents.
