Round " O " Vs Oval " 0 " In God 73s

coppertop5150 Pillar of the Community United States 958 Posts	Posted 10/19/2010 02:43 am just looking at my s marked pennies The 68-s has a oval looking 0 in the word " god " the 74-s has a oval looking 0 in the word " god" but the 73-s has a very round circular looking " O "in the word god i dont have a 69-70-71-72 's marks to look at to see if the 73 is the odd ball I know they changed the portrat in 69 to the early 70's by any chance is this 73 round O a varity ? coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 10/20/2010 11:33 pm Obverse designs of the Lincoln Cent were changed no less than five times from 1968 to 1974. The only way to find out if they are a "variety" would be to compare coins from the same year for differences. Report this Post to the Staff
