Is anyone aware of a Specimen grade loon for 1987, 2003 Older Queen ( latest portrait ),2006 with mint mark, 2009 Montreal Canadians or a 2010 Inukshuk
And How about a Proof finish for 2003 Older Queen ( latest portrait )or a 2006 with Mint Mark
And how can I edit my list after 1 day
Thanks again

I know little about loonies, but doesn't the regular reverse 2008 proof come in both sterling silver and regular metal?

Yes it does that's the one I have listed as 2008 wedding silver loon.
That one seems fairly common but the 2007 silver wedding loon wow that one cost me lots :-(
Only just over 500 of them made I think

Not a lot of love for the loon it seems, I thought a lot more people would have posted about the coins I missed.
When I started collecting coins I thought the loon would be perfect as its the only set I could ever hope to come close to completing
O well more for me if you guys don't want them ;-)

I have thought about trying to collect the loon coins at times, but never have really acted on it. I do have the the 2008 eider duck, and would like to try and get the rest of the different birds they made starting with the Canada Goose. I enjoy wildlife coins, especially when they are life-like representations, and I find most of Canada's wildlife coins designs to be great examples. Good luck on your loons!

I collect loons from circulation and the specimen bird series, think you missed the 04 Elusive Loon. I will try to see what others I have seen listed. I have a counterfeit that is pretty good from a distance.

I have the 2004 elusive loon listed as the 04 stamp.
Can you post a picture of the counterfeit loon that you have, or email it to me.
Thanks

By the way I'm still trying to edit my list can anyone help me do that?

My collection includes all the circulating loons for each year. I haven't bothered with trying to collect an example of each finish. I have a few of the NCLT loons but haven't pursued them outside of the ones I especially like.

Hi Lithanial,
For now they are all in 2x2s in a binder.
I would like to put them in a wooden display case, I'm still playing with different ideas
:-)

I think I need to get a hold of admin to edit posts older then one day

Canuck1us, I think one of my favorites is the 2002 loon family.
But I like having all of them ;-)

There is a 2007 wedding set on e-bay offered at $4,999.....a little too rich for my blood.

Curious to see if anyone is willing to pay that much.

The Item number is 110788587169 if you`re curious too.
