Sorry to hear.

Did you responded to every inquiries within ebay email system? If you can prove that the buyer lied about it, call a ebay representative to remove the negative feedback.

I always mail my item with delivery confirmation, a level of protection, may not be perfect. But is better than not having it.

Just type "Blocking bidders and buyers from you listings" in the ebay search bar and it will bring up the link you need. I just blocked your guy too...thanks for the info.

Lesson here is you need delivery confirmation on ALL sales, unless you want to go through this again...these scammers WAIT for orders without a DC, and, even though he most likely got the coin, can still say he didn't, as there is no way to you to prove delivery...sorry for your hassles..I went through this 3 months ago, and, lost bigtime, as I left a "Negative" in the feedback box...ebay did NOT take to that very well, and, nailed me...DAVE's comment on what to leave is excellent, and, won't get you in trouble...and, remember to photograph MULTIPLE coin orders, with each coin next to the final mailing packet, before you mail, and keep it on record, until a buyer leaves a positive, or, 90 days on your computer..many of these same bums claim a coin was "left out", and, without a pic to back you up, it's an instant losing case....
Block em, move on, and, remember, 99% of sales go through fine, with decent people...then, out of the blue, we all get our bums to deal with, who know how to milk ebays buyer protection...
If you want better protection mailing on more expensive items, get the Signature confirmation...that leaves NO way of messing things up(bet someone can tell me otherwise, and, it wouldn't surprise me!), but, you can sleep at night...it's Mandatory on sales over 250 dollars...I use it on anything over 100 now, to be extra-safe.

Huge waste of time. Means absolutely nothing. Anyone in a position of authority that would accept such silliness as any kind of proof should be fired immediately.

I use DC on all my sales from $10-25. Anything above that, insured. Anything below $10, well, I'm taking my chances and I use a different envelope and charge less. I had to up my s/h costs but so be it. It's thieves like this that destroy it for everyone.
You just can't take chances with anything anymore.

I just take my chances on anything under $35, its not worth the repeated $1.71 for a label. However, I try to be really careful about packing if its close to that mark, and I usually put 20 cents for nonmachineable unless its cheap. You can go down to $1.25 at the post office but that's a pain. Occasionally I take a loss but not nearly enough to make up for the $1.71 times 100 or more.

Still try to get the negative removed, they might not deserve nice words but ebay really hurts sellers with the rating/feedback system.
