Super find! My grading skills are mediocre at best but I will venture a guess at G4.

I've taken a few more photos using my loupe. I'm not sure if it helps or hurts though.

I do see the die-crack in the L, and the t, u, and t in TRUST are more bold.

These are very hard coins to grade, because the die's were so worn to start with.

I would be leaning toward the die #1

Over the years how die 1,3 and 4 have been looked at very differently.
By LRC standards these 3 die's can fall between weak "D" to no "D"
but all would have a weak reverse.

Die #2 should never have a trace of a "D" and will have a strong reverse.

A coin like this would sell better if it were slabbed.

It would also look good in the 1922 no D slot in my Dansco

I don't see any trace of the D. I'd send that to PCGS!

First off, my many thanks for all the replys so far.

I decided to show this coin to a couple of different dealers today, and both of them told me that this coin would slab with a "weak d" title. I trust both of these people. Most times, it's good to have a different set of eyes to help you see.

I took some more photos of the coin from a different angle. I didn't crop or resize the photos.







At this angle, I do see something. And I'm guessing that it's enough to get this coin to grade as a "weak d". A weak d coin in this condition is not worth grading imho. But it is worth filling the no-d hole in my Whitman. I'm chalking this one up to me, hoping to not see something that was still there.
