Quote: an unusual form of overdate on the obverse Wait, is that 'figure' inside the 0 on the reverse someone nailed to a cross? Quick, raise that asking price.

I read the title and thought there might be something new to look for. Unfortunately I think it is too rare for me to hope I will find another...

Ozcoins;
If Nancy doesn't direct deposit the 10k within the next 24hrs, I'll be sending this one back into the wild. So actually, it will give you something to hunt for! Dunno what the odds of you finding it are though? Possibly the same as finding a real 1992 20c overdate.

I have found three of these, but have put them back into the pond. Wish I had kept them. One had scalloped edges to it, took ages to get the coke machine to accept it.

Hi dibby. I hope you wrote the sentence "One had scalloped edges to it, took ages to get the coke machine to accept it." in jest . Because a 1981 scalloped 20 cent piece is one of my "Dream Coins". See http://www.dollarmule.com.au/id10.htmlIs it possible that such an error coin is still "floating" around in circulation in Australia ?. Squire

SW : Yes I did. I am aware of the coin The way I look at things - if there is one, then there should be more than one. If it is possible for such a thing to exist then it is equally plausable that two can exist and if two can exist, then who knows...

Thanks Deano Part of the reason that I like the "Dollarmule" website is because they have the embedded youtube video's. It adds "personality" to the hobby. The video at the bottom of the page is particularly instructive.
