Can the winner post pictures of these on the "Post An Ike" thread?

The seller corrected on June 30th and stated the listing as Roosevelt dimes not Eisenhower and apologized for their mistake.

Quote:The seller corrected on June 30th and stated the listing as Roosevelt dimes not Eisenhower and apologized for their mistake. True, but why not edit the description? The entire listing still refers to them as Eisenhower Dimes and then there is a single line at the very end that corrects all the incorrect information listed previously. I doubt there is any ill-intention here but it is very sloppy and costs the seller credibility in my opinion.

Merc, being lazy I'm sure. Even if ebay didnt let him edit it, should have just ended it and relisted

Since there are bids, ebay won't allow the seller to edit the title and description. I think it was an honest error, but I agree that the listing should have been canceled and relisted.

I can understand such an error. I have actually referred to the wrong type of dime in open forums here, but have always tried to make sure I was correct when selling on the bay.
At least the seller corrected the main description.

WHAT? Those aren't really Ike Dimes? Sure wish they were since I wanted some for my Kennedy Dime Album. So many empty slots in that Album.

That's too bad people don't know who is on our coins. I guess it is more the reason to put Liberty back on them!

So if I bid and win, and not see the tiny admission of error, and then determine that, that is not really Ike on the dime, can I claim SNAD?

@wquinn: I think "Liberty" is even more obscure than most presidents and founding fathers. The Peace dollar looks like a Jack-O'Lantern to me. The face isn't consistent with other coins - like the Morgan dollar, $10 gold piece, and other will chime in with other examples - it's too hot to think. (Off-topic, but I can't wait to see how the $1 Bill Clinton coins turn out, Kennedy too.)

I BEG TO DIFFER! These coins were struck during Eisenhower's lifetime! At what particular time? ANY old time!
