It's yardwork for me too. Yesterday my 7 year old asked me, "Dad, when are you going to get more pennies to search through?" My wife just rolled her eyes.

Suffering withdrawal symptoms? You have a few choices:
- Suffer increasingly common panic attacks as you go 'cold turkey'.
- Rob a bank (frowned upon by some).
- Noodle for different sand grains on a beach. This is considered even MORE eccentric.
- Spend some time time with fellow eccentrics here in the CCF, probably the most socially acceptable, because your neighbours won't know about your suffering, unless you tell them.

I know what you're going through. Haven't picked up any additions to my collection for a couple weeks. Stopped at the bank today and lo and behold, they had rolls of the Acadia quarters so I bought a roll. That urged me to hit ebay which always does damage to my account.

After a dry spell I usually go and buy a bunch.

No coins for me for a while. I just got my home real estate taxes and as usual, massive increase. For some reason those taxes, home insurance, auto insurance, all coming due now.
Might be the first time in a long, long time not even a coin show.

Instead of searching rolls search references on coins.

Hope you all had awesome (and safe) Fourths! Aside from doing housework I found myself working on another coin video. This one will hopefully have some nice photos & sound in it as well.

I liked all the ideas Sel_69l. M0nks hopefully you'll get some more half boxes next week.

If not raining or too too hot out

I've never used one. Not too bad an idea. Though the point was to find ways to exercise ;)

Indian1 Too hot? Think about the guys who served in Baghdad. Those fellas with battle fatigues, were out there in 120 deg. F heat.

I'd agree with John1. Always a good idea to learn more about the coins you collect, or generate interest in a new area.

I feel your aggravation today, Job. I had some mad money that I wanted to spend on some coin, went to my coin dealer, they were closed until the 10th.

Half an hours drive for naught.

Argentum, you gotta have these locations on speed dial. I have all my order banks, coin shops, and dealers in my cell. It's the worst making the drive out to a particular place only to learn they're closed, didn't order coins, sold the items already, etc.

Anyways, the yard work is finally done. Hopefully the banks will have coins for me this week. Just a couple more days, I can make it.
