And don't take too much notice of the grouches. We have a lot of give and take here.

I am not interested in the 1984 but have put a watch on another item.

By the way; ebay no longer has multiple item listings for auctions but you can multiple list for Buy it Now. For example [WARNING -self promotion following] http://www.ebay.com/itm/26106950672....m1558.l2649 Parents, do not let children view this.

Hmm well when I tried to list it with a quantity and buy it now it wouldn't let me. Said I had to be a powerseller or have a ebay store. But if you say it can be done I'll try again 2mrw :-) cheers

When I do it it says I can't. I get directed to a help page that has this.

Multi-quantity listing changes

You need to open an ebay Store, be a PowerSeller or be registered as a business on ebay to be able to list multiple items in one listing. Read more about multi-quantity listings.

If it was 1985 I think we'd all be there...best of luck.

Australian Coin; I always need quality coins (& banknotes as you know). Can you list them in this post for me?

Sorry, just taking the piss.

With an ebay store it'll now cost $24.95 per month for only slight listing discounts. Great if you sell lots. You can try it for a few months & then cancel it need be & you'll only get charged for the fees (of all the ebay listings, sell fees etc). If you're planning on parting ways with lots of stuff then it's great. I do it, but my issue is I don't get round to selling enough, but I should do so given how easy it is to sell now with ebay apps on iPhone/Android.

Stay on this forum, because it'll give you a huge insight into collecting coins with minor faults into coins with major faults that may be worth 100x* face value.

(* don't quote me on that)

I forgot to mention that ebay stores can charge your Paypal account, so if you're selling a bit, then it'll come from the money you're making on the other items anyway.

A benefit is you get to choose a store name: mine is shampooworldcomau...but I'm not here to advertise haircare products.

I'm here to talk coins, notes & stats!

I don't really have a huge amount to sell if I paid the $24.95 I won't make anything on the coins. Looks like I will have to list the 18 coins one after another so will take me about 6 months to sell, great!
Think it might be easier to just sell the lot to a dealer, anyone now of any on the central coast NSW?
unless anyone else can think of any other way I could move this coins out quicker.

You could sell multiple coins as one lot.
Eg.
"10 * 1984 50c"

Looks like ebay has changed their rules again, sometime, and I didn't notice. They do that all the time.

I would sell them all in one group as ex mint roll coins. As they are quite common I think the best thing going for them and therefore the best way to market them is a split roll.

Kel,

World English Dictionary (Collins):
Take the p*ss: to tease or make fun of someone or something

H*ll:
a.the place or state of eternal punishment of the wicked after death, with Satan as its ruler
b.forces of evil regarded as residing there

Kel, maybe K*ll...oops, h*ll is just some religious connotation?

I agree with Kel, you'll get a better price on ebay, but selling on here will benefit the (coin) community!
I bulk buy occasionally & offload excess, but I always find 50% sale (at cost on coin community) of the bulk before I buy. Whatever I'm left with is ideally worth quite a bit more on ebay.
