IMHO you have a MS-64 with a green bean or a star.
Great coin and one to be proud of.

If this makes an MS64 grade - I am in at even money.

That's no MS64. Technically it's at least a MS65. Keep it where it's at and admire it. When you need to offer it on the market send it off to NGC and they'll put their strap on it.

Coin in hand. This IS a nice one. Will send off to NGC in the near future.

Of interest, there is a die clash on the obverse and reverse, both minor, but definitely there. ALL of the lettering on the reverse is MD or DD, along with the edges of the wings. I do not see a VAM listed that has all of these qualities.

I have been looking at pictures of 64, 64PL, 65, & 65PL's online...this one has a shot at 65 or 65PL.

Let you know in a couple months.

After looking at the first photos and the last ones you posted, doesn't even look like the same coin. I agree it might pull a 65 but if offered to me I'd be paying 64 price just like you did. Buying from photos can go either way, sometimes the photo makes the coin look worse than it is and sometimes it looks far better than it really is. I think who ever you bought this from did a little work on the photos to swing it to the better side but at least you paid correct money for it.
Rest in Peace

Exactly what I was going to respond with before I left for work this A.M. (but ran out of time) The seller definitely doctored those pictures to work in his favor.

Still a nice looking GSA CC though.

Based on the additional pictures, I think you are looking at a MS-64 or thereabouts. It doesn't look reflective enough to get PL. So it looks like you paid a fair price for a nice coin.

MS-66 would be my guess.

Based on the second set of pictures, it would be in the higher MS-64 range I don't think it would make MS-65

Keep your fingers crossed. Dropped off with my out of town coin dealer, he will be submitting to NGC soon. Would LOVE to get a 66 or 65 PL. Would be VERY happy with a 65. ....and will be ok with a 64.

I was thinking MS 66 on the original pictures, but based on the second pics you posted, MS 64. The second set are still a tad blurry, so it's tough to be accurate. Hopefully I'm wrong and you'll get a 65. Keep us posted!
