Muddler, you know I like the BU version the most. I do have to say your coin looks great.
I am sure it is part that the coin looks great, I also think you took a very good picture of it.

Nice coin! Good choice! I'm a fan of the satiny MS coins. For those interested in digging deeper on this particular issue, the Crispus Attucks dollar was also featured in two special sets produced by the US Mint: 1) Young Collectors set (MS coin) and 2) Coin and Stamp Set (Proof coin). Neither is as common as the respective individual coin, but can generally be located with a little effort/patience. Note: The Coin and Stamp set comes in a box with a separate COA - make sure purchased sets include both. Here are a few images to guide those interested in searching. 1998 Crispus Attucks Young Collector Set 1998 Crispus Attucks Coin and Stamp Set - Front 1998 Crispus Attucks Coin and Stamp Set - Intro Panel 1998 Crispus Attucks Coin and Stamp Set - Stamp Panel

Like most Commem's this coin is a beauty, I like the UNC compared to the proof, on this one also!!!!!! PS, I believe the Unc is worth more than the counter parts proof, I feel a proof is kept as pristine as possible, while the UNC is not as protected and therefore much harder to locate in a higher grade!!! I actually have the young collector's set and the proof. Apparently my grandmother bought a lot of the commemorative issues and I found 2 boxes full of them when we cleaned out her things after she died.

Nice addition to your commem collection. I also added this coin on MS and proof to my dansco about a month ago. Found them on e-bay way under priced so hit the buy it now on both coins.
