Speaking of varieties, I need help with this one! Has anyone ever heard of or seen a Canada, 1880, quarter, with an A/V? (Obverse>in "V" of Victoria) Similar to the scarce 1872 quarter and half dollar varieties.

DBM, & Glenzy question about this 1880 A/V... How do we know its not been added later? It does not appear to be certified ? So my question is why has no one called it PMD..? is it because of hi price ? I have not seen any in the books there for it is extremely unique right ? or am I missing something ? everyone jumped on the 1870 8 over 5 on ebay but no one has said boo about this one ? Are there other 1880 's like this ?

You betcha. It'll be even worse if there's no hockey, and the liquor stores go on strike.

1998 doubled ice or crown "type B", harder to see than any double whatever on the 74 dollar.

@artdio
1880 A/V 25¢ are mentioned on page 395 of the 2008 Charlton's.I believe some have been certified by CCCS.
