I'm not sure I'd go much over 63 for this one; the gouges on the cheek seem pretty deep. Have a look at the vee of the neck. I see what looks like a rather unique die crack there, characteristic of the VAM-19 "Bar Wing" series.

I would have to say a 64+ on this one. And there appears to be a die clash on the neck of liberty that might make it a scarce VAM.

MS-63 is my first impression on this one but it may go to MS-64.

The basement slabbers today would call that a 67 or higher. That is accurate in my opinion.

This coin is at least MS-64 I don't see how folks are calling it a 63 ... not seeing a "deep gouge" anywhere just some extremely minor bag marks and booming luster

since I was one of them that said MS-63 I feel I need to respond. It doesn't take a gouge to make a coin a different grade, just bag marks are sufficient enough to do it. I will show the difference between a MS-63 and a MS-64 of the same date both graded by the same company (NGC).

MS-64

The MS-63 has quite a few bag marks in the field. As you can see there isn't much difference between MS-63 and MS-64 but someone that looks at a lot of Morgans start to be able to tell the difference between the two, so I stick by my first assessment at MS-63

Nice examples Bryan and I agree, if this goes off to PCGS it will come back in a MS63 holder.
