I have been investigating long term storage storage solutions for my more valuable variety coins $50-200). I understand that the really valuable stuff should be graded and encapsulated, and the low cost stuff is fine in clear clips or cardboard and Mylar flips.
Because I want to remove coins for photos and analysis, I would like something that can easily release the coin. So I had been looking at round and square capsules.
The capsules with foam inserts seem interesting for writing specimen numbers and information on circular papers. However, I have seen videos where people claim that will cause haze and milk spots around the edges. True? False?
Anyone have good or bad experiences with round or square capsules for long term storage, including the occasional removal?
