I ordered an album from albonumismatico. Their website is in Russian and I struggled for a long time trying to decipher it. Only later did I learn that a lot of browsers will translate automatically or if requested.
They have a lot of different Russian albums. I'm not interested in year sets, so the type set seemed like the best choice. They have a type set 1921-present in two volumes. The album I ordered was volume 1 for the years 1921 - 1991. That includes most of CCCP and a little before and after. There is a second volume from 1992-present that I did not get. I think Russia made a ton of commemoratives then.
They do not sell directly to USA so I had to special order using a freight forwarder which at least doubled the cost. I don't think I will be ordering another anytime soon.
The box is nice:

The album looks like a dansco or similar album, with brass colored rivets and corner guards:

The pages look like cardboard. I don't know how that compares to dansco or others. I wonder if it is acid free or otherwise 'safe' for coins:

Here is a picture of one page, with white paper behind it. Just to show that it's like a typical album. The only thing I noticed was there are no little finger cutouts to help with the slides. I know some album manufacturers have those and some don't:

So far I am happy with it. It looks well made. The extra shipping cost is not the manufacturer's fault. But I haven't tried putting any coins in yet. So long as they fit well I'll say it's good.
There is another manufacturer of albums, 'arabian coins', that I might try soon. They have a website and sell on
ebay.
It is nice to have options of albums for world coins.
