First-Class MailĀ® International Letter** $1.17 to Canada

We are talking about 35$ in coins, don't need a Brinks truck to deliver it. Put numismatics on the customs form it will get here fine.

I don't know about you all down south. But we send coins via stamp mail all the time with in Canada. Just completed a 3oz for 3oz trade with a board member which both of our mail cost us less than $2.00

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the Royal Canadian Mail. I am waiting on a package from Canada that we couldn't get tracked because it would be cost prohibitive. Anyway I would also be interest in the lot if you decide you don't want to ship to Canada. I'll PM you thanks

@swrbxxx
That's technically illegal. Can only send paper with lettermail. Canada Post has the right to return your letter mail if there's coins in them. If you went to a post office to drop off the letter they should not have taken it.

Cost about $3 to ship in small "package" (it was a thick envelope but the US post office considered it a package) weighing 3 oz with customs declaration stating "numismatics" from Florida to Quebec and it got there in less than a week.

If you do everything right there should be no issues. It's when you try to tricks the system to save money that you start having problems.

Williamson, worth noting. I used to try & figure the best/cheapest/ most secure way to post to Northeners.
After many coins being delayed, it wasnt until IBGolden assured me I should just send a $1 gold just "regular".
I sweated bullets, but it went smoother than any other shipment. Sometimes the simplest is the best.

take a chance, yeah it's not legal to send "non-letters" through letter mail but they definitely know it when you send it. they don't really care as long as its right postage, I've had full penny rols sent to me through letter mail from the states. state what they are legally on the customs form.

I was like geeeez, reaally 24 post to figure out best way to move ONE OUNCE of silver, must be some ground breaking info hidden away in here I missed, lol....

I never underestimate 40 bucks however, as it takes roughly 100 sets of 40 to make 100 oz. eh....

With 52 weeks in a year, if I added one ounce of silver per week at 40 bucks, that would take two years to get to 100 oz.....

And still the money put in which would be 180 bucks per month is equvilant to having internet and cable BUNDLED with a 30 dollar land line NOBODY uses, lol....

My point silver or pm hoarding aint cheap and every single oz. counts....

When you ship a coin with lettermail, this is what it has to go through: (1:26 - the Dicky-beater)
