if you are looking for a single key date coin I suggest you buy one where you can actually see what you might be getting, those pictures are horrible and there's a good chance someone will end up over paying by a grade or 2.

Is the 1926 coin (obverse) an error? It looks like a clip.
Impeccable feedback: some sellers "buy" the feedback as I was once asked to change from negative to positive and receive a compensation.

scans are a bit on the rough side , coins are all no problems and grade nice vg - vf at least. No error on the 1926. Will say this...... penny lots are red hot these days!

Quote: Impeccable feedback: some sellers "buy" the feedback as I was once asked to change from negative to positive and receive a compensation. Must have been a new seller, as once you have left feedback, negative or postive it can't be changed. I had a buyer leave negative feedback for me once and admitted to making an error as he meant to leave it for another seller and I got it by mistake. Neither the buyer or ebay themselves "could remove it". I received a big apology from the buyer, but the negative still remains on my account today. As far as the purchase goes I fully agree with what's already been said. A full year set if it's what you want and need, can be a good purchase and you can always sell the extras but if it's just a coin or two from that year I would hold out for a few nice singles.

Great seller. Very honest. If 54dollar says that they have no prblems, then I would take his word on it.

Well, I did bid on it a few times, but the lot is now higher than fair value, based on A)completed ebay auctions of the constituent coins; B)the values given by Charlton and; C) those on the price guide at http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php. That is, unless they are all VG-8 or better and, from what I can see from the scans, I don't believe this to be the case. In any event, I'm noted for being cheap and G4 type values are more than adequate for my likes. Sadly, every lot of 1920 pennies had at least one I already have and so I think my best course of action would be to acquire all of them singly, although I hope I can find a seller who has several of my target list so as to reduce the shipping costs. I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to this thread. I found it very informative and entertaining and I continue to be impressed by the collective knowledge of this great group! Cheers, Rob
