I believe this to be at minimum an EF coin. Given the relative weaks strikes due to the Cu/Ni plancet, it has very good detail. I feel comfortable saying EF45, maybe AU50 depending on how it looks in hand.

XF40 was my first instinct.

At first I was at VF35 but this coin could easily slip into EF territory IMO.

I see a EF-45 possibly as high as AU-50.

I'll weigh in at Xf-40. Nice coin.

I'd say EF-45,I'm sure the detail is sharper in hand so maybe even AU. Nice coin, especially for an earlier year! I'd be happy with it in my set!

AU50 was my first thought. I was surprised to see the VF guesses and I'm no IHC guy really. It could go XF45 but below that would seem undergraded to me.

XF-45 for me. I was also surprised to see some VF guesses.
I think it just misses AU because there seems to be some very minor wear across many parts of the coin. The bottom rail has a couple issues too, but with LIBERTY that bold, clear ribbon separation and that much diamond detail, I feel good about XF-45. These CN IHCs did wear slightly differently than pretty much all later bronze coins and are more easily found with good ribbon separation and detail so this coin might fall to XF-40 in hand.

For me maybe it's the harsh lighting? Making the coin looked washed out? I might be way off on my grade posted earlier. Love to see this one in hand - one of my favorite IHC's are the CN ones.
