Are they all the same composition (magnetic or non-magnetic)? One would think that the steel cored strikes would be more prone to being weaker strikes....

...and then there were four....just found another. I should have gathered them all at one time..sorry...looking through and sorting a lot of different errors and years we've accumulated. I'll stop for now. I hope it helps with others looking for this kind of thing...Interesting stuff. Take care   |

I have a very high MS 2008 coin that I will post soon. I assumed that it was a weak strike. I will also check the weight to see if anything is up with the planchet size.

Wow, nice finds! I haven't come across one of this kind myself, but will be keeping my eyes open just in case one comes my way. Thanks for posting this particular error. It's great to see something new from the last years of our Canadian penny :)
