Are any of these made out of real silver, or all they all just base metals?

I missed the copy angle and looking back it makes sense since most of the modern issues are missing.

Nice 1839 O half

Amazing that half are toned.

No Daniel Carr coins in there, otherwise this 7070 would include a 1970 or 1975 Ike, the 1975 JFK and the 1964 Franklin. (also, the 1933 Buff and 1931-S Standing Lib)

I got to see a Daniel Carr Kennedy half for a few seconds at last months coin club meeting from a member who made modern HOBO nickels and his own dies for fantasy coins (it must have been a 1975 as he confirmed it was a Carr coin)

I was not impressed by the quality but I don't think the Kennedy halves were Carrs best work.

Highly doubtful that any are of precious metals, unless it was by accident. The source dried up before I could finish the album, and there are no Carr coins.

What a neat set! It is cool to see the diversity of copies...

And to wonder about the stories behind each.

The Classic Head Half Cent looks circulated. If it was an early counterfeit, I wonder why they chose to do Half Cents. Pretty much the same effort for a large cent, but twice the return.

Looks like a lot of them have rotated dies.

Maybe a thing to note in the future in looking at counterfeits for sale on ebay.

Also the colors are more brighter. But that's a good idea Jack.
