My guess would be the biggest problem is theyres no silver in it, and nothing is really rare or still in mint cello. Just kind of one of those things that doesn't make people want to jump at it. If you had any silver you wanted to sell you could try adding that onto it and see if thatll get the action going

If you added just a worn down Mercury dime, you could probably get some bids at $25. At least that's how I think. |

no offense but clad circulated mostly modern coins are not going to sell for 2.5 X face plus shipping very often..I would follow the advice about adding a small amount of silver to move the lot

I always start at .99 cents opening bid but if that's too low for you, you could always start at face value. With a start at 25 bucks people will just cruise right on by. People wanna try and get a bargain and then get caught up in the bidding.

You can also add in your description that the 2005 Bison Nickel roll was part of the Westward Series (2004-2005) and was a 6 month issue only. |

Unless I am missing something with this lost it looks like change from one's pocket. There is nothing of value other than face value. The starting bid is way too high and the description is too confusing to understand. I understand you want to be as descriptive as possible but try listing it in bulleted form and having a concise paragraph at the end. I personally feel there is nothing desirable in this lot and would rather purchase an ounce of silver for the listing price of these coins.

Just to be honest with you, there is really nothing desirable in this lot for me either except the earlier wheat cents. That is why I am selling it, but this is coming from longtime collectors like us. I tried to gear this lot for a beginning collector. I know the majority of would obviously not be interested in this lot, but if you were going to buy it, what would I have to add? Edited by Bassmaster

Okay, so there are several of you saying that the description is to long and confusing. If I was buying a lot like this I would want a long description. Its not the length its hows it presented. The wall of text with the paragraph was what they were saying they didnt like For example instead of having it as Quote:The dates of the 4 half dollars are 1986 D, 1971 D (x2), and a 1974. The carded coins in this lot include a bicentennial quarter, 1965, 1966, and 1967 dime, and a 1919, 1920, 1939, 1942, and 1951 D wheat cents. These have writing on the top (ex. 1919 Wheat cent). You can see an example of it in picture 6. You might have trouble reading some of the handwriting on them, use the example to see. The rolls of nickels include a roll of 2004 D Peace Medal type, and a roll of 2005 P&D Buffalo nickels. These nickels are in random circulated condition. They have the date and type written on the roll (ex. 2005 PD Buffalo). There may be more of one type of mint mark than the other one in the 2005 PD Buffalo nickel roll. The truck parts better for the truck part since thats self explanatory. For coins at least noting everything in a lot is better than letting people guess, especially for common lots. No matter how you list it though its going to be a hard sell just because of what it is
