How does their marketing work?

Broke, your user name says it all.

The RCM wants you to spend more and more and more, until you are broke.

Then once you have learned the secret handshake and have sworn allegiance to the mint, you might receive the "exclusive invitation" and the cheap gift.

Yep, so it says I got a rep, but I have to call him to confirm that I am interested. Says less than 5000 people currently have that benefit, and that I have to call him to get a coin gift not available on the site. That's pretty much it

Now we know they have at LEAST 5000 MC members. If you include MC members without reps, the TOTAL number of MC members must be very high. Who knows, maybe as high as 10,000? Perhaps that is why they are imposing a one coin limit.

Each rep has around 450 MC members an there are about 10 reps. So they must have hired some new reps.

The number of MC members could be as high as 8,000.

Perhaps one day every MC member will be assigned a rep under the auspices of being specially invited.

Well it turns out my new mint rep "Pierre" isn't much of a go getter,
First time he could have worked for me he blew me off
I guess tomorrow I will call the mint and ask for a rep that is interested in doing his or her job
Or I maybe I'm better off just doing it the same way I always have and just check off the little boxes beside everything I like
I wonder if this means I don't get my free coin

@ Lostwords
He didn't email me or call me about the new release.
I wasn't to worried about it as I was sure everything that I wanted to buy would be around for a while, but it would have been nice to get an email.
His loss I guess, I spent $320.00 yesterday plus my Duck subscription.
I'm not sure how much commission they get, maybe it's only 1 or 2 % that would explain his lack of effort.
My 4 to 5 grand a year is most likely not worth his time.

I don't expect to ever see the gift. I didn't accept the offer of a rep.

Not really a big deal. I don't collect the BU series.
