Glad you like them! I am trying to put together a general "type" collection similar to the 7070 Album used for coins. For now, I am limiting myself to $1, $2, $5, $10 and $20 denominations and focusing primarily on the 20th century (although I obviously have some earlier notes as well). And that's mostly just to keep the costs within reason. There are some rare notes I may never own, but so far I'm having fun with it.

Here's what I have so far:

Some lovely choices, there! I especially like that $2 Educational. Hope I'm as lucky at the Whitman Philadelphia coin show in two weeks.

Very jealous, the indian chief, bison and educational are 3 notes that I think everyone wants to add to their collection.

Very nice notes indeed.

barryg,
I more or less built up the same kind of type collection but included the $ 50. and $ 100. also. Still need a nice
$ 2.00 and $ 5.00 Educational.

Have done the same thing with the Small Size notes, have the R & S notes, all the Hawaii and the North Africa notes and went up to the $ 500. and $ 1000. with the FRN's.

I still need a bunch of the late date notes from 1990 on up, if for no other reason than to just fill in the holes in the collection.
Regards
Bill Collector

Love the educational note and the $10 Buffalo. The educational series is, without a doubt, my favorite series. The $5 educational is absolutely gorgeous.

While they are all nice, I'd have to say the $2 Educational note is the best of the lot and is an all around amazing note. Congrats on the scores!

I agree,
That two dollar is nice.
The $ 2.00 and the $ 5.00 educational notes are the only ones missing from my Large Size type collection, hopefully I'll find one of each in nice condition by the end of the year, or at least before Spring of next year.

Well, one of the dealers I purchased from yesterday had a $5 Educational note for only $600. Unfortunately, it was a really beat up rag and I think I'd rather save up and get a nicer one someday for $1000 or so.

I think this calls for some drooling similes! Especially like the Educational series note and the Bison note.

Yeah, those are definitely the highlights. I got the Two Dollar National Currency from Boston as a companion piece to this one I already had in my collection:

I just didn't want to pay too much for it, hence the condition.
