It is a DDO. Maybe #003 or 008 depending on the markers. HMMM-don't know why that posted twice. That's happened a few times before.

Thanks. Ill see if I can match the markers. I have been experiencing double posts lately too... But isolated to mobile devices, i.e. my cell phone.

I am thinking DDO #6 actually now... Any opinions? IGWT direction and spread appears to be a match, but the thing that stuck out to me was the L and B (especially the B) in Liberty. These photos are of DDO#6 from Lincoln Resource to compare to the photo in OP (Photo 2 in OP shows best comparison in my opinion)

Thanks for the link Coop. I "think" I can see it too in hand, as good as my eyes and a 5x loupe will allow me to. Its too close a call for my eyes though in too small a space. Think I need more magnification. While I still believe this is #6, I have noticed the doubling is a lot sharper on the coin in hand (hard to tell from my sub par pics) then the example on most websites (such as the link you just sent). Not sure if that simply means my coin was struck a little earlier than the one that was photo'd? I just took notice when I was looking for the marker near the "D". Its not an extreme difference, but enough that I thought I should mention in case its important.

The "O" also looked the same. When attributing, the markers may not be there, but the exact doubling need to be the same. So compare each device to see if they are the same rotation of hub doubling. Then you can nail it down for sure.

Thanks for all your help as always Coop! Yep, was just coming back to post I eliminated 8 based exactly on that and after further examination have come to a fairly confident conclusion with #6.

What Microscope are you using? I have a Zorb but it doesn't take near as good of images as you have.

@Jayman - You asking me, or someone else? The photos in my OP were taken with my Droid smartphone and a 5x Loupe held to the front of the cam :) The latter ones in the post were from my flatbed scanner at about 2400DPI. Maybe you are referring to Coops pics?

The side by sides help a lot. Its the differences seen between the images that help. 003 & 008 are often hard to determine so I coupled them together. I also have a set of 002 & 007 because these two get confused together also. Still waiting to get a great set of images for 004, 006. The ebay seller that takes these hasn't posted them yet. Yesterday I added a couple of new sets of images for the DVD of Encased Cents and "love tokens." The guy who listed them on ebay, I asked him for permission for the love tokens, and I offered a DVD to him when version 6 is completed. Over 1200+ images and still going.
