IMO, you kicked booty on your first ebay purchase! You negotiated the seller down and got a reasonably quality coin for a good price! That's how you do it!

Please post some pictures when you get it. I would love to see them!

My first thoughts were cleaned and hairlines. Hope what you receive is better looking than the pics. If you're not happy with it contact the Seller and ask to return it. There is nothing like looking at a buying mistake every time you open your set!

Out of curiosity, I looked up what you paid... at $8, I'd return it.

IMHO ... Agree with the AU, cleaned grade ... Personally, I'd keep it as a gauge for future purchases. Put it alongside a true BU and study the difference. This should prove to be a relatively inexpensive but valuable lesson for future acquisitions.

Also remember, the only way to learn what coins should look like is to look at coins. Lots and Lots of coins.

Don't be shy, return the coin if you are not pleased. The seller has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Why go through the hassle of selling a problem coin yourself and potentially losing money in doing so.
