My second attempt at getting a picture to show the different sizes of U.S. coins. I added a large cent and a small dollar. Also tried to capture coins that had size changes, I know I did not put a type I gold dollar .. I had put the one I had lose back into a new holder and did not want to break it out again Top row Half Cent, cent, Two Cent, 3 cent, nickel, dime, 20 cent, quarter, half dollar, dollar Bottom row one, 2 1/2, 5, 10, 20 dollar gold  Top row Cent, three 3 cent nickel, nickel, dime, quarter, Half dollar, dollar Bottom row Large cent, 3 cent silver, Half Dime, med size dime, large quarter, half dollar, small dollar   Edited by GR58

Such a great idea! Here is a comparison of a 20 and a 25 cent piece. No wonder both people and merchants complained about the confusion caused by the similarity.  |
