I am able to bring the image to full screen.
I see slight wear patches, most notably on the King's cheek just behind the lips, and on the eyebrow.

The reverse is better, probably because the design presents a very large number high points, that thus protect the overall design.

Split grade. AU58 / MS 63.

I will leave it to others to determine as to how a split grade in this case will result in an overall single grade for this piece.

the obverse is always to it the most important to the grade, as most the professional they say it

Again Gilles. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. The coin posted in the other thread was graded by NGC and ICCS. This is not about if I like this coin or not. This 48 is a very nice coin. Just because it's shiny doesn't mean it's automatically graded higher. The obverse seems to have some flaws and has some visible wear above the ear. The reverse is very nice. Why don't you provide us with YOUR opinion of the grade?

Not that I trusted ICCS to be right all of the time but from all the pictures I would say for sure this also deserved ms64 this one,

Like I said before it seems like you want to argue that with every one who is not in agree with you

Thanks for playing along. I have had this coin for 30 years. It was purchased in the early 1980's and sent to ICCS for certification in the early 1990's. The coin is quite nice in-hand and I believe if it was sent in for re-grading it would possible receive MS63 today. Thanks for your opinions.

Sadly you will now find that many of the ICCS graded coins from the 90's would now be graded higher.

We're not allowed to say "grade creep"...but it's alive and well as documented over and over again here.

with what the guy DEVLEC he said, but I'm not afraid of to call the creep, is see a lot of that on here, because it is what it is you know, that's the way of the time now they don't do anything as good as it was back in the old days, eh

I would release the coin from inside of the plastic you know and then sell it for what it is higher worth,
