I am starting to wonder about the competency of ANACS....Those of you that have read this topic know I almost received back my T1 1916 SLQ encased in a 1917 T1 slab. They corrected the error after a call ( it was in shipping awaiting Fed EX)
I did a search on the ANACS site using the certification number 3 days after receiving my "corrected" coin back, and it shows up as a 1917T1. ok..Holidays ect ect. I sent an email on 12/26 and followed up with another on 12/28. I waited til 1-6, no response. I called them early on Monday 1-6 and spoke to someone who said it would be corrected (after having to explain the whole story again) Its 1-8, and it's still listed as a 1917 T1 in search.
Certification Number Coin Type Coin Date Mint Denomination Variety Superlative Grade Name 4400505 005706 1917 25C VAR 1 02
Am I expecting too much? or are things usually this slow?

I'm like you, I expect results to happen as timely as I would make them happen if it were my responsibility. It's a good thing I don't have people working for me....

RK55, I agree that is a problem. If you were to try to flip it, you would be accused of something nefarious presenting a 1916 SLQ with an online cert number for a 1917 SLQ. Keep on top of them and please keep us in the loop.

While I agree the cert look up should be changed immediately, like when they pulled it and re-holdered. But they are probably backed up with all the free submissions from the ANACS Insider deal offered this month ended on the 6th. So while it should have been changed right away, I can see they are probably really jammed, still one would think the database would have changed automatically (which it probably did in house) the website may need some time if it does a timed update to reconcile the in-house database.
