Very interested in this column.. I have bout 4 rolls of orignal bank rolled 1960 large dates and the coins were disturbingly the same with the same tilted mint mark and oddly enough alot of reverse with what appeared to be extra columns.. I was goimg to post but well Thanks this kinda covers my question

Post pics. The columns are suppose to have a 3-D effect to them and some people think it's a double column when it's not. John1

Sorry the image doesn't offer much help. It might just be die scratches or something else. Just not a close enough look to tell.

I did not see this listed on coppercoins.com but there are some with similar columns in different bays. Nice find.

I guess I'm not the only one not seeing it. Are you seeing doubling next to the column or in the middle of the bay?

The bays are part of the fields on reverse die. So any contact while the die being polished/abraided would show as well as contact marks with other tools/dies/holder could cause marks on the bay areas. I don't see a pattern in the area. So it could be fading die scratches or contact marks to the die. It has to be one of 16 years reverses.

It is a RDV-007 which was used 17 years. Is there a way to eliminate 11 years?
