Thanks for all the input. The bill's not in the greatest shape. I'm completely new to bills. Spent my life on stamps and coins. So, no guides, just what I find on the ol' interweb.

IMHO

Put it on ebay.......

Let 'er rip......

There is a buyer for everything.

The higher you price it...

The more and quicker it will sell.

Domain555... I'm not out to sucker or hoax anyone. I'm just looking for an opinion if there is any value.

A "fair" "no sucker" no hoax" price is ... when a buyer and a seller agree on a price.

One thing for sure ... it is a fiver.

Mani: Also just a spender.....IMO

Domain:When trying to push a nickel as a dime you may gain an intial profit but you will lose credibility.. and for what.. 5 cents?!

Same goes for this $5... the person puts it up on the bay there are only a limited number of possibilities.
1) Item doesn't sell and cost you listing fees
2) Item doesn't sell --- and people who see what you have listed think you're out to profiteer and block you as a seller (or just don't go back to see what you have listed again.. trust is broken)

3) Item does sell the buyer doesn't realize they've over paid
4) Item does sell the buyer realizes they've over paid and ask for a refund (hassle) and you now have a poor reputaion..

I certainly don't see how the sale of this type of note for more than it's worth could benefit anyone.

The best thing for this hobby is when the buyer is really happy about what they have bought and will recommend the seller to others... ...
