DV--does Snow do attributions on raw coins. If so, how is the attribution certified if there is no slab.

Quote: how is the attribution certified if there is no slab. Yes--he attributes your coin "raw", but who is better qualified than Rick Snow on IHCs? Rick Snow also sells IHCs raw--without a TPGs help--imagine that.

What camera are you using, Waxemm? I'd be happy to work with you on getting the best out of it - we've a pretty active Photography forum here which I can't seem to keep my hands off of.

It's a 10mp camera that came with the AmScope stereoscope I have. It's got some features that allow you to change things.

I still don't see a match to the known RPDs. Good luck--I hope it's a new variety discovery piece!

A very interesting coin. Did Rick get any more specific as to what you are seeing? Looks like there is a base of a "4" repunched to me with the anomaly, but I'm not the expert. Still collectible IMO and an interesting conversation piece.

No that was pretty much what he said. He said it was common for that date.
