I DONT think ICCS would comment on it, CCCS would if you asked but certification is probably more than you'd get for the coin.

LOL, its a cool keeper, I think its quite unusual, and I`m also wondering,if anybody has heard of ,or seen pics of legit dots on 1936 pennies that are NOT in the right place. I actually have seen a listing somewhere, a long long time ago!maybe a trade some time in the near future, thanks again for you valuable input!

I don't think sceptical is right state of mind. Militant "atheist" should be the prevailing opinion.

OK, after doing a bit of way back reading,I must first and foremost, apologize to Coin community members, and staff for opening, yet again, this particular can of worms, and yet again, dragging you all through it,one more time.I had absolutely no intention of misleading anybody, and I`m not out to prove anything. Our time is valuable, and I do not like to waste it on redundant topics, especially this one. I`m sure this SAME topic will come up yet again, and again ,in the future when some other unlucky schmuck finds what they think is another 1936 dot penny Then everyone will respond with the same redundant responses, with sleight variations. Well I guess thats what forums are all about. I`m sure we would all love to see an original 1936 "DOT" pop up one day, who knows, but this isn`t it, not this time, Maybe next time. Again, I`m sorry, In the future,I will attempt to post more intelligent posts.

Don't feel so bad about it-----I'm sure somebody just collects pit dots. Pit dots are especially neat if you detect one at the early stages and see how they grow over time in the same series !

I appreciate the post, even though as you say, there already was one, however, IF you missed that one (like me), then this one was very informative to say the least. Thank you.

Information sharing is always good. Thanks for posting. Just because it was discussed before, doesn't mean I saw it before.
